A Journey towards forever shining bright, Unapologetically!
Soulfully Rewritten Therapy's
"Golden" Mission
Soulfully Rewritten Therapy is incredibly grateful that you are prioritizing your health and well-being to visit our therapy website. Soulfully Rewritten Therapy was derived from 17 years of experience in the addiction and mental health fields. Soulfully Rewritten Therapy will support you in rediscovering your true authentic self by fostering the resiliency hidden within. Your journey will evolve and strengthen with self-expression, the acceptance of imperfections, the courage to change personal narratives that are no longer serving you and facing adversity and suffering with self-compassion. By participating in Soulfully Rewritten Therapy services, you will be empowered to explore, challenge, and invest in your healing journey. Therapeutic services are available for both teens (12+) and adults, and LGBTQIA+ and disabilities communities.
Soulfully Rewritten Therapy's spaces were designed to cultivate growth, healing, self-love, and self-awareness. The therapeutic spaces at Soulfully Rewritten Therapy have hints of gold throughout. The inspiration behind the gold accents came from the Japanese art of "Kintsugi" or the "Golden Repair" in repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer; to celebrate the imperfections and the history of the object rather than with holding the object from being adored by others. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, loved, and valued as who they are as human beings!
Soulfully Rewritten Therapy's "Golden" mission is all about healing the mind, body and soul. It is time to rewrite your story, a story filled with gold lacquer or "Golden Nuggets" (as my beloved Concordia professor put it when talking about finding strength, tenacity, and your purpose in life) that softens fear with hope, sparks inspiration instead of fueling uncertainty, promotes love over shame and guilt, honors grace and holds space for all of your beautiful imperfections. The Golden nuggets also instill peace in the racing and worried mind, add elements of joy that are free for the taking, supports patience and growth; then mindfulness teams up with acceptance to create balance, and embracing self-forgiveness will set you free from the pain you once endured.
As the journey towards forever shining bright is within all of us, unapologetically!
Congratulations on earning your first
"Golden Nuggets!"
Let's help you collect more.
About Your Therapist
Hi, I’m Brittni—the founder and therapist at Soulfully Rewritten Therapy LLC in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
If you’re here, chances are you’ve been carrying more than most people realize. Maybe you’ve been battling an eating disorder, anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use, chronic illness, or simply trying to survive while feeling disconnected from yourself. Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know one thing:
You do not have to navigate it alone.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I specialize in helping adolescents and adults heal from eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, chronic illness, and the complex emotional challenges that often accompany them. But my passion for this work extends beyond my education and professional training.
For over 20 years, I fought my own battle with an eating disorder while also learning to navigate PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life with chronic illnesses. Those experiences challenged me in ways I never imagined—but they also transformed me. They taught me resilience, self-compassion, and the incredible strength that exists even when hope feels distant. Today, those experiences allow me to meet clients with authenticity, empathy, and understanding, while helping them believe that healing is not only possible—it can be sustainable.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is warm, collaborative, direct when needed, and sprinkled with humor, creativity, and compassion. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck, develop practical skills for everyday life, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself that has always been worthy of peace.
My professional journey has allowed me to work alongside individuals facing some of life’s most difficult moments. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Graduate School after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Child and Family Development and Psychology at Concordia College.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide variety of settings, including a federal correctional facility, Mayo Clinic, Allina Health’s Abbott Northwestern Hospital, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, transplant teams, mother-baby services, outpatient mental health clinics, residential and outpatient substance use treatment programs, and juvenile and adult correctional systems. These experiences have shaped my holistic understanding of both mental and physical health and reinforced my belief that every person’s story deserves to be met with compassion rather than judgment.
I remain actively involved in organizations dedicated to recovery and specialized care, including the National Alliance for Eating Disorders, Accanto (The Emily Program), Alsana, Minnesota Womxn in Psychology, The Ehlers-Danlos Society, and the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA). In 2023, I was honored to attend the Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA) Conference in Boston, further expanding my expertise in treating eating disorders and complex mental health conditions.
Soulfully Rewritten Therapy was founded on one simple belief:
Everyone deserves a life worth living.
Whether you’re taking your very first step into therapy or returning after time away, my hope is that you’ll find a safe place where healing feels possible, progress is celebrated, and your story can begin a new chapter.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you rewrite your "Golden" story.
“Clients often describe me as genuine, down-to-earth, compassionate, and easy to talk to. While therapy can be challenging, I believe it should also be a place where laughter, hope, and authenticity have a seat in the room.”

Why does Soulfully Rewritten Therapy use the "Unalome"
(uh-na-lohm) symbol as their logo?
The Unalome symbolizes the journey toward enlightenment. The design usually starts with a spiral at the bottom, representing the beginning of a person's life, often filled with fear, confusion, and uncertainty. As the line progresses and begins to straighten out, it signifies finding clarity, direction, and the eventual path to enlightenment.
Therapy can help you make sense of the past, guide you in mindfulness in present, and prepare you for your future with an open heart and mind.
Let's walk this path together!
